unit is insured but your contents are not unless you have purchased
renter’s insurance. As an owner of rental property we do not have an
option to insure renter’s contents.
You must purchase
renter's insurance for your contents to be covered. In January
2023, we ran a quick quote (~5mins) online with
Sure
Insurance and
the estimated quote was $22.75 per month for 10 months after the
$35.51 initial payment for $20K of coverage for a house.
